The Joypurhat Zilla Samity, Dhaka (Joypurhat District Association, Dhaka) is founded in 1990 and registered with the Directorate of Social Services of the Government of Bangladesh on 27 November 1993. The Association is the only body of the people of Joypurhat living in Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh. Joypurhat is one of the 64 districts of Bangladesh and is located in the Northwest part of Bangladesh. The Association has an Executive Committee of 21 members. The vision of the Association is to build a network of people of Joypurhat living in Dhaka for their welfare and contribute to the socioeconomic development of our home district.
